- Ensure the safe and optimal of processing equipment in the field and process control consoles.
- Perform structured rounds (field and process control consoles) and troubleshooting and include initiating corrective actions to ensure safe operations of process of units.
- Prepare equipment for maintenance and perform unit shutdown, start-up and be part of emergency response team.
- Go through a technician training and progression program and OJT to acquire technical knowledge and skills in process operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'O' or 'N' level passes in English, Mathematics and a Science or a good Diploma/NITEC in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Process Technology. No Prior working experience is required.
- Additional compensation will be accorded to those with higher qualifications.
- Must be prepared to work in 2 cycle shifts.
- An effective team player with good communication skills.
